This is Chinese embroidery is reproduced from a traditional Chinese painting by Lang Shining, an Italian artist who lived in China in the Qing Dynasty. It features two birds perched on branches. The birds are depicted in a realistic and detailed manner, showcasing their grey and black feathers with white markings. They are surrounded by intricately hand embroidered branches adorned with green leaves and red fruits, set against a light, neutral background. The embroidery work also features some Chinese seals. One of them is from emperor Qian Long who collected the origianl painting for a certain period of time.
It is all hand embroidered with fine silk threads by embroidery artists from Su Embroidery Studio in Suzhou, China.
